What you'll be doing Develop and program CNC machine tool paths and operations to produce parts to precise specifications Monitor CNC machine operations and make adjustments to programs as needed to ensure consistent quality and efficiency Collaborate with the engineering team to identify process improvements and implement them Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during CNC machine operations Maintain detailed records of production data, programs, and machine performance Provide training and guidance to other operators on CNC programming and best practices Read technical drawings and set up the machines according to these blueprints. Use computer software to model cutting paths, fixture designs, and program machines accordingly. Perform quality assurance tests to ensure products meet design specifications. Adjust machine cutting paths or settings to optimize production while maintaining quality. Consider the tools required to cut materials and program machines accordingly. Troubleshoot and resolve problems with machines as they arise. Train new employees on how to properly operate CNC machines and programs. Ensure and monitor jobs assigned to machinists for machined parts are in accordance with drawing requirements. Undertake any other tasks or duties assigned by a superior or management from time to time to meet the company's needs and market demand. What we're looking for 5+ years of experience as a CNC Programmer or Machinist in a manufacturing environment Proficient in programming CNC machines using various CAD/CAM software Strong understanding of engineering principles, CNC machine capabilities, and manufacturing processes Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills to optimise production workflows Attention to detail and a commitment to quality and safety Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve production goals Prepare CNC programs using CAD/CAM software and ensure the accuracy of instructions by comparing them with technical drawings and designs. Review drawing and specification, process development and create CNC program by using CAD/CAM for CNC Milling machines. Analyze drawings to determine the best machining process and tooling requirements for precision manufacturing. To lead a team of machinist, operators & technician to achieve daily production output efficiency. To support the production department in troubleshooting technical issues during mass production and improve the CNC program To work on jig & fixture design. Candidates must be familiar with MASTERCAM/SOLIDWORKS. Preferred candidate with experiences in local industry.
