Job Title: Accounting Executive Job Level : Junior / Intermediate Department: Operations Department – Accounting Rate: RM 3,000 - RM 4,000 Location: Gelang Patah, Johor Bahru, Malaysia Overall Job Objectives: The Accounting Executive will play a support role in maintaining financial integrity, ensuring compliance, and contributing to the overall success of our organization. The candidate will be working closely with the Accounting Senior Executive and Finance Manager in the preparation of all financial reports for the Company. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES: • Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with local accounting standards. • Perform daily accounting tasks that will support our financial team. • Enter financial transactions into internal databases and help check spreadsheets for accuracy. • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and accounting principles. • Provide support in the preparation of the tax compliance activities, ensuring adherence to local tax regulations. • Address audit inquiries and implement recommendations for process improvements. • Conduct financial analysis to support strategic decision-making. • Identify opportunities for process improvements within the finance department. • Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial information. JOB SPECIFICATIONS: • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. • At least 2-3 years related experience • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. • Solid understanding of accounting and financial procedures and regulations. • Professional qualifications preferred (ACCA, CPA, ICAEW, CIMA or MICPA). • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. • Demonstrated integrity, ethics, and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality in handling financial information. • Candidate may require to Singapore head office once a month. KEY DELIVERABLES: • Ensure all financial transactions (e.g., accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, journal entries) are recorded accurately in the accounting system on time. • Provide accurate and timely financial reports to management for decision-making purposes. • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. • Stay updated with changes in accounting regulations and implement necessary changes.
