JOB POSITION: PRECISION MACHINING SPECIALIST STINIS MALAYSIA SDN. BHD. seeks a PRECISION MACHINING SPECIALIST to help design test our planned upcoming projects with create dependable, hardworking products benefitting out company’s development. • Set up and operate CNC and manual lathe, milling and grinding machines • Interpret and edit G-code, M-code, and CNC programs. • Work with CAM software for toolpath generation. • Load and calibrate tools, fixtures, and workpieces. • Read and interpret engineering drawings and CAD models. • Apply coolants and lubricants for efficient machining and tool life extension. • Perform surface finishing techniques, including polishing, deburring, and grinding. • Handle heat treatment and stress-relieving processes as require • Conduct daily machine maintenance and calibration. • Troubleshoot mechanical and programming errors in CNC machines. • Replace or sharpen worn cutting tools to maintain high precision. • Identify and correct machine alignment issues. • Work with maintenance teams to schedule preventive maintenance • Assist in new product introduction (NPI) and prototype machining. • Track production metrics, including cycle time, yield, and scrap rates. • Implement Lean and Six Sigma techniques for continuous improvement. • Reduce cycle times and optimize machining processes. • Perform tool offsets, wear compensation, and cutter radius adjustments. • Identify and resolve machining defects such as chatter, tool wear, and burrs. • Optimize machining programs for efficiency, speed, and minimal waste. • Improve machine cycle times through process adjustments and automation. • Test and validate new programs before full-scale production. REQUIREMENT: Min 5 years above experience in precision Must possess at least a relevant certificate. Understanding of GD&T CNC and manual machine operation Ability to interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and CAD models Root cause analysis techniques Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles Reducing cycle time, scrap, and waste
