PRODUCTION MANAGER

• Production Systems 1. Apply approved operating procedures in the press and post-press production processes. 2. Identify problems in the press and post-press production processes and implement preventive /corrective actions. 3. Lead in monitoring and reviewing departmental processes to identify areas for improvement. 4. Conduct regular reviews on manpower and material utilization to maximize usage and minimize wastage. 5. Document and implement Good Manufacturing Practices. • Quality Systems 1. Implement quality management systems and procedures. 2. Monitor product quality to ensure conformance with quality standards and customers' requirements. 3. Promote quality initiatives and encourage staff participation in quality improvement schemes such as 3S, 5S, OHSAS, ISO 14000 etc., 4. Implement systems of preventive maintenance of equipment and machines. 5. Lead in developing MBOs for the production teams. • Staff Training 1. Ensure production staff are suitably and systematically trained for various tasks on-the-job or via external training courses. 2. Document best practices in production methods and implement the adoption of the best practices among production personnel.
