Sales Executive / Sales Manager (IT Solutions, Hardware Supply & Tender Management) Role Overview: The Sales Executive/Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying and closing business opportunities across AIG’s IT Solutions, IT Hardware Supply & Services, and Government/Private Sector Tenders. This role requires strategic sales planning, relationship management, and a strong technical understanding of IT solutions and procurement procedures for both SMEs and large enterprises. Sales Executive – Focuses on lead generation, direct sales, and achieving personal sales targets. Sales Manager – Handles higher-value accounts, strategic negotiations, and may oversee junior sales staff. Responsibilities: Lead Generation & Business Development Identify, approach, and acquire B2B clients in SME, Enterprise, and Government sectors. Develop and implement sales strategies for Ark X, WMS, Cybersecurity, Managed IT Services, and IT hardware solutions. Conduct cold calls, networking, and client presentations to generate leads. Build a targeted sales pipeline across multiple industries. Work with the marketing team to optimize digital and offline lead generation strategies. IT Hardware Supply & Services Sales Source and sell IT hardware solutions, including servers, networking equipment, security solutions, workstations, and peripherals. Work closely with procurement teams to ensure competitive pricing and stock availability. Assist customers in selecting the right hardware and IT infrastructure based on business needs. Government & Private Sector Tender Participation Identify and register for government and corporate IT tenders & procurement contracts. Prepare, review, and submit tender proposals, pricing structures, and compliance documents. Coordinate with internal departments (Technical, Finance, Procurement) to ensure compliance with tender requirements. Engage with government agencies and procurement offices to track upcoming projects and bidding opportunities. Client Relationship & Account Management Build and maintain long-term partnerships with IT decision-makers (C-Level, IT Managers, Procurement Teams). Provide technical consultation to align AIG’s solutions with client needs. Ensure contract renewals, upsells, and customer retention strategies are executed. Sales Performance & Reporting Prepare quotations, proposals, and contracts in alignment with company pricing policies. Track and report sales pipeline, conversions, tender status, and market trends. Work closely with the Technical Support Team to ensure smooth post-sales support and client retention. Monitor competitor activities and pricing trends to stay competitive. KPIs: Revenue Target Achievement – Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales quotas. Customer Acquisition – Number of new clients onboarded across SME, enterprise, and government sectors. Lead-to-Sale Conversion Rate – Measure how many leads turn into actual sales. Tender Participation & Success Rate – Track submitted tenders vs. awarded projects. IT Hardware Sales Contribution – Measure revenue from hardware supply & service contracts. Client Retention & Upsell Rate – Track contract renewals, repeat business, and upsells.
