Hardware design engineers design and develop components such as circuit boards and processors for computers and other devices. They work closely with software engineers to create new components, conduct tests on prototypes, and oversee the manufacturing process of a variety of hardware components. Skill in HDL programming tools (Verilog, VHDL) Knowledge of hardware development processes and life cycles Knowledge of RTL Coding Guideline Skill in Circuit Design for FPGA module Knowledgeable in standards (DO-254, DO-160, MIL-STD-461F, MIL-STD 810, MIL-STD 704) Skill in schematic capture, printed circuit board layout (experience with EDA tools: example Quartus/Vivado) Knowledge of writing and executing hardware test specifications (FPGA test circuit : example, BIST, boundary scan, JTAG etc Experience with test equipment (oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, logic analyzers, digital signal analyzers) Develop system integration strategies, test and certification plans to assure that operational and functional requirements are met. Skill in using engineering requirement tools (eg: IBM Rational DOORS), SVN or another version control tool, and JIRA or any related issue tracking tool Research new technologies and techniques, and apply them to product development Support development of avionics system architecture and system software for real-time simulation applications Support testing and certification of aircraft and supporting systems. Review and evaluate technical document to determine appropriate action to ensure compliance with aviation authority regulations. Other requirement (Good to have ) : >10 years' experience in Hardware Design Engineering, computer or embedded systems design and implementation, digital circuit and analog circuit design and test  >5 years' experience in typical embedded control peripherals (RAM, Flash, FPGA, SPI, I2C, UART, PWM, A/D, Ethernet/MII, CAN), typical design  Experience with hardware development processes and life cycles  Experience with analog design of signal conditioning and filter circuitry  Experience in designing for EMI/EMC compliance with MIL 1553 STD.  Experience in PCB tools such as Altium for schematic capture and PCB layouts and review  Experience with test equipment (oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, logic analyzers, digital signal analyzers), and writing and executing hardware test specifications
