Estate Manager

Job Responsibilities; • Develop and implement strategic plans for the management and expansion of oil palm plantations, aligning with company goals and objectives. • Oversee the entire plantation operations, including land preparation, planting, fertilisation, pest control, field maintenance and harvesting to maximise yield and quality. • Led the mentor plantation management teams and staff, promoting a culture of high performance, collaboration and professional development. • Drive the implementation of sustainable farming practices including environmental management, social responsibility and compliance with industry standards. • Develop and manage the plantation budget, monitor financial performance and implement cost control measures to achieve targets. • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, policies and standards including health and safety, environmental regulations and labour laws. • Maintain effective communication with senior management, external stakeholders and regulatory bodies, addressing any professionally. • Identify and address operational challenges and opportunities, implementing solutions to optimise plantation performance and mitigate risks. • Stay informed about industry trends, technological advancements and best practices, incorporating innovative approaches to enhance plantation operations. Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Plantation Management, Agriculture, Agronomy or a related field. • Minimum 10 years of experience in leading and managing oil palm operations. • Strong understanding of sustainable agriculture and environmental best practices. • Good financial skills including budgeting and cost control. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with advanced skills in Excel. • Exceptional leadership, communication and interpersonal skills. • Perform other duties as assigned by management. • Good People Management, Communication, and report-writing skills • Required language(s) : Bahasa Malaysia, English
