GENERAL MANAGER - PRODUCTION

Job Description 1) Assist the Managing Director in managing the technical day-to-day operations of the company. 2) In charge of the overall Production / Technical / R&D Dept. 3) To advise and assist in the Logistics Dept. 4) To ensure good communication link and coordination between the various departments. Production: a. To ensure smooth workflow and monitor datelines and delivery schedules. b. To trouble shoot problems that arise. c. To work closely with the Production Mgr, Production Engineers / Supervisors to ensure that the implementation of the production plan is followed through. d. To oversee the planning of the production plan. e. To oversee manpower requirements. f. To manage the whole team to ensure that every employee knows the objectives and goals of the company. g. To oversee the quality control and assist in the implementation of quality standard ISO9001 h. To identify and formulate production policies and procedures in line with the company’s requirements. i. To set the documentation procedures. j. To implement the SOP. Technical: a) To identify the requirements and to formulate policies and procedures to ensure that the department is technically sound. b) To identify training needs and formulate in-house training. c) To introduce and update on latest technical changes on either existing models or new models. d) To work closely with the various heads of department to ensure that technical needs are met in accordance to the company’s quality system and technical plan.
