Key Responsibilities Project/System Enhancement • 1. Assessment of Existing Scripts: Analyze current SAS programs to understand their logic, data sources, and dependencies, identifying potential challenges during migration. • 2. Mapping and Documentation: Create comprehensive mapping documents to outline how SAS scripts translate into AWS services, ensuring clarity for all stakeholders. Maintain thorough documentation of processes, configurations, and best practices for future reference. • 3. Design and Implementation: Collaborate in system design to optimize operational efficiency and oversee implementation, including deployment with AWS services. • 4. ETL Development: Develop and implement ETL jobs in AWS Glue, translating the logic of SAS scripts into optimized SQL for use in cloud environment. • 5. Testing and Validation: Conduct unit and integration testing of migrated scripts, collaborating with stakeholders to validate results and resolve discrepancies. • 6. Performance Optimization: Optimize Glue and/or data flow jobs for performance and cost-efficiency, ensuring scalability with data volume. • 7. Collaboration and Knowledge Sharing: Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, provide regular updates on progress and share knowledge about new workflows and tools. • 8. Participating on Project Delivery: Carry out end-to-end project delivery encompassing project scoping and planning, risk management, quality control, project execution, deployment and handover to post-deployment stabilisation and BAU mode. Ensure projects adhere to established project and delivery management methodology, processes and standards and in compliance with applicable regulatory requirements, auditors, CIMB Group’s Enterprise Architecture and IT governance and standards, and Disaster Recovery/Business Continuity Planning framework. • 9. Assessment of new Request: Facilitate cross-functional collaboration with units and technical team to manage the impacts, interfaces and inter-dependencies of new request. • 10. Post-deployment and BAU support: Manage and provide support to relevant teams in IT incidents/issues resolutions and Level 2/3 support to Application Support team for production systems in BAU as needed. Regulatory Compliance • Ensures compliance with local/regional regulatory requirements (eg. BNM, MAS, etc.) and internal/external auditors."
