DUTIES & RESPONSIBLITIES : To acquaint the incoming guest with Hotel standards and service by the proper condition and cleanliness of all guestrooms assigned to his/her care. To follow hotel policy in regards to cleanliness of guestrooms. In cleaning rooms, to follow up directions and procedures according to what has been taught in training programme. To follow directions of Room Supervisor as to: o Personal cleanliness. o Daily room reports. o Damage or articles missing. o Changes in room equipment. o Lighting fixtures or switches out of order. o Plumbing switches, leaks or out of order. o The presence of unauthorised birds or animals. o Suspicious or unusual guest conduct. o The presence of animal. o The Found articles to Housekeeping Office. To clean room on whichever floors or rooms assigned to him by supervisor. To take care of equipment, linen and supplies and to use them as directed by supervisor by utmost care. Must be pleasant with a pleasing personality and a desire to serve the guest. To perform all other duties as may be directed from time to time. To cleaning and release room as standards given. Daily cleaning of floor service area and pantry. Daily restocking of Minibar items in occupied and checkout rooms. Service to the guest and follow up on all guest requests. Special attention to VIP’s, Long Staying and Sick guests. Completing of floor status sheets and reporting to Room Supervisor of any discrepancies on room status. Removal of room service trays and tables from the floor corridor to the service area when necessary. Attending to flowers in the guest rooms. Following of set procedure in an Emergency. To perform all other duties as may be directed from time to time by company designated Appointee.
