Carigali Hess Operating Company Sdn Bhd (“CHOC”) are the operator for and on behalf of Petronas Carigali JDA Ltd Malaysia (50%) and Hess Oil Company of Thailand Ltd. Co. Thailand (50%); the contractors under the Production Sharing Contract (“PSC”) with Malaysia-Thailand Joint Authority (“MTJA”) for Block A-18 of the Malaysia Thailand Joint Development Area (“MTJDA”) For your info, MTJDA was established as a statutory body to assume all rights and responsibilities on behalf of the Malaysian and Thai Governments to explore and exploit the non-living resources, particularly petroleum, in the offshore overlapping continental shelf claim area (JDA – joint development area) MTJA, for gas exploration and production: at Kuala Lumpur office (HQ) as well as other locations at Kemaman Supply Base, Terengganu (KSB), Tok Bali Supply Base, Kelantan (TBSB), Cakerawala Offshore Platform (CKP) & Puteri Cakerawala (FSO) Offshore. We are governed by a Board consisting of seven Members each from Malaysia and Thailand, appointed by the respective Governments and under the MTJA Board, there is a management staff of MTJA comprising equal number of Malaysian and Thai executives. MTJA website : https://www.mtja.org JD of Technician, Production - Offshore as below: The TECHNICIAN, PRODUCTION - OFFSHORE is required to operate, adjust, control, monitor and trouble shoot all process systems, utility systems/equipment, wellhead/subsurface equipment and Safety equipment. To ensure that the Sales Gas and condensate delivery meet the required Specification and Nomination in a safe, cost effective and professional manner in line with Company’s HSE policy and procedure (such as Permit to Work System, Isolation Procedure, Confine Space Procedure, Lifting Management System, Risk Assessment, Hazardous Area Classification, JSA Job Safety Analysis, etc.) RESPONSIBILITIES • Perform routine operations, control, troubleshoot and monitor all process facilities, to maintain Platform process system and Well head platform in safe operating mode, understand wellhead and subsurface equipment, utility systems/equipment's and other related systems / equipment's on the platforms. Able to identify operation problems. Carry out Designate Person in Charge duty at remote well head platform or designate area • Assist in carry out operation of DCS distribution control system – understand platform Shut Down System, Fire and Gas System • Collect Operation Data and prepare daily operation report • Fully understand and interpret the Critical Drawings –P&ID, Cause and effect Matrix, Equipment's /platform plot plan • Perform non-routine operations related tasks / activities such as platform shutdown/ start up, facility modification and improvement, subsurface work, construction, SIMOPs etc. • Perform all tasks and responsibilities delegated by the team leader/Sr. technician with respect to the implementation of the ‘Permit to Work System. Prepare and develop JSA job safety analysis • To be assigned as DCT member as per Company Emergency Response Plan • Maintain Safety Equipment Operation, perform Safety Equipment (Firefighting, lifesaving equipment) and Operations Planned Preventive Maintenance • Maintain availability for all operations related consumables, update the stock records and make requisitions to maintain stock level if required • Control and monitor to ensure that all the non-routine / non-operations work / activities on the platforms (including activities of other contractors) are undertaken in accordance with the Company's HSE requirements, Permit to Work System and other requirements that might be in force • Participate in hook up, commissioning and audit activities prior to start up • Participate in all safety programs and training on the platforms such as emergency drills, firefighting and rescue exercises, safety meetings, audits, etc. • Participate in any training (other than safety) deem necessary as and required by the Company • Identify abnormal process parameters and take appropriate corrective actions • Perform other operations related tasks / activities as instructed by the Production Team Leader
