CNC Machine Centre Specialist

Set up and configure CNC machine tools (lathe, milling machines, machining centers) according to job specifications and blueprints. Install and align tools, fixtures, and workpieces on the CNC machines to meet specifications. Load and program CNC machines based on part drawings or engineering instructions. Operate CNC machines to perform a variety of tasks such as drilling, milling, turning, and grinding. Monitor machine performance, adjust settings as necessary to ensure optimal operation. Inspect parts produced to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications. Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines, such as cleaning, lubrication, and tool replacement. Troubleshoot and resolve machine issues, ensuring minimal downtime during production runs. Work with maintenance teams to address complex mechanical and electrical issues. Inspect parts using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to ensure accuracy. Ensure adherence to production schedules while maintaining product quality. Maintain detailed records of inspections and machine maintenance. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to review design specifications and identify potential improvements. Communicate effectively with other team members to ensure smooth operation of production lines. Provide training and guidance to junior CNC operators and apprentices. Follow all safety guidelines and procedures while operating CNC machines. Ensure that the workspace is clean and well-organized, promoting a safe working environment. Comply with industry standards, such as ISO, and company policies to meet regulatory requirements.
