Job Description Set up and operate a variety of grinding machines, including surface, cylindrical, centerless, and precision grinders. Perform grinding tasks with higher complexity, such as working on tight tolerances, intricate geometries, and challenging materials. Adjust machine setting and tooling to optimize production efficiency and accuracy. Conduct detailed in-process and final inspection using advanced measuring instruments such as CMMs, micrometers, caliper, and optical comparators. Analyze quality data to ensure all parts conform to customer and engineering specifications. Document inspection results and collaborate with the quality team to address deviations or defects. Monitor equipment performance and report major issues to maintenance or supervisory personnel. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and achieve higher precision. Provide input on new grinding techniques and equipment. Mentor and assist junior grinding technicians (Grinding Technician I) with skill development and troubleshooting. Follow all safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment(PPE) and machine grinding Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure a safe working environment. Adhere to company policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
