Key responsibilities Develop and implement quality control procedures and standards for all manufacturing processes Perform regular inspections and quality audits using Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) and other precision measurement tools Analyze data and generate reports to identify and address quality issues Collaborate with production teams to implement corrective and preventive actions Provide training and guidance to production staff on quality control best practices Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and standards, and ensure compliance Continuously explore and implement process improvements to enhance quality and efficiency Program, operate, and maintain CMM machines to measure dimensions of manufactured parts and ensure compliance with engineering specifications and quality standards. Conduct inspections using CMM and other precision tools like calipers, micrometers, profile projector and gauges to verify product dimensions and tolerances. Interpret and apply information from blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate inspection processes. Record and document inspection results, including reports on measurements, deviations, and other quality control data. Perform routine calibration of CMM and other measurement equipment to ensure consistent and accurate results. Identify discrepancies or quality issues and work with production teams to resolve any non-conformances. Participate in continuous improvement efforts to enhance quality control processes and production efficiency. Ensure all inspection processes comply with company standards, customer requirements, and relevant industry regulations. Program and operate CMM machines to perform precise dimensional inspections. Interpret engineering drawings and GD&T to set up measurement routines. Analyze and document measurement data to ensure components meet specifications. Collaborate with manufacturing and quality teams to address non-conformances. Perform regular maintenance and calibration of CMM equipment. What we're looking for Degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance or a related field Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience operating and programming CMM machines. Strong understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing). Experience with CMM software such as Contora, spectrum, and zeiss. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
