1. Premises & asset security • Ensure the safety and security of company premises, equipment and assets • Conduct regular patrols to detect and prevent security threats • Monitor and control access for employees, visitors and vehicles 2. Emergency Response Team (ERT) & Emergency Handling • Actively participate in the Emergency Response Team (ERT) and assist in handling incident such as fires, chemical spills or other emergencies. • Assist in emergency drills and evacuation procedures. • Provide immediate response to security and safety incidents, ensuring proper reporting and escalation 3. Enforcement of security & safety regulations • Enforce security policies and ensure compliance with company SOPs. • Conduct inspections of employees, visitors and materials entering or leaving the premises. • Supervise the use of security systems such as CCTV, access control and alarm systems 4. Reporting & documentation • Prepare detailed reports on security incidents, patrol findings and daily security operations • Report suspicious activities or security breaches promptly 5. Security training & development • Provide training/refresh training to subordinates when necessary • Attend regular security and emergency training including ERT Training • Educate employees on security awareness and emergency response measures 6. Security equipment maintenance • Ensure that security and emergency equipment (fire extinguishers, alarms, etc) are functional and well-maintained • Assist in regular inspections and suggest improvements when necessary
