Speech Therapist (ALRITE AUTISM )

Key Responsibilities: • Assessing, diagnosing, screening, and preventing language, speech, communication, and swallowing disorders. • Develop individualized treatment plans. • Provide intervention in the areas of speech, language, social communication skills, literacy and AAC. • Willingness to learn about / be trained in less familiar practice areas and opportunities to further develop in specific interest areas. • Provide guidance and support to parents and caregivers on home-based activities and strategies. • Provide detailed documentation and records of evaluations and treatments according to in-house policies • To help develop, update intervention modules and make teaching aids • Prepared Writing reports (Assessment report, Lesson Plan, Monthly Progress Report) • Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and ongoing professional development activities and training programs. • Liaising with the in-house Therapist for the child’s progress Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology. • Valid speech-language pathology license. • Fresh graduate are welcome to apply, experiences in relevant fields are advantages. • Must be able to work with special need kids and strong passion for working with children with special needs. • Must have a compassionate and positive attitude, ability to work constructively as part of a team, understanding ST's roles. • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team. • Team player, Self-motivated and self-directed. • Excellent in communication skills both in English and Bahasa Malaysia (verbal and written) • Technology literate
