Occupational Therapist (ALRITE AUTISM )

Key Responsibilities: • Develops occupational therapy treatment plans based on the educational goals for eligible students to improve the student’s functional abilities within the school and naturalistic settings, in collaboration with the IEP team. • Assess and evaluate children's physical, sensory, cognitive and functional abilities • Provides students with individual treatment and group therapy sessions to correct specific areas of sensory-motor integrative dysfunction. • Provide guidance and support to parents and caregivers on home-based activities and strategies. • Provide detailed documentation and records of evaluations and treatments according to in-house policies • To help develop, update intervention modules and make teaching aids • Prepared Writing reports (Assessment report, Lesson Plan, Monthly Progress Report) • Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and ongoing professional development activities and training programs. • Liaising with the in-house Therapist for the child’s progress Requirements: • Minimum Bachelor Degree in Occupational Therapy. • Fresh graduate are welcome to apply, experiences in relevant fields are advantages. • Must be able to work with special need kids and strong passion for working with children with special needs. • Must have a compassionate and positive attitude, ability to work constructively as part of a team, understanding OT's roles. • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team. • Team player, Self-motivated and self-directed. • Excellent in communication skills both in English and Bahasa Malaysia (verbal and written) • Technology literate
