E.g. PMP, Prince2 • Relevant Work Experiece Project Manager • PROGRAM & PROJECT MANAGEMENT • Determine the GSD project approach, milestones and schedule. Develop detailed program and project work plan • Define the GSD project iterations strategy. Manage and evaluate iterations. • Work with GSD vendor like hardware, OS & database (Exclude Middleware) for system implementation. • Review all GSD requirements to validate they are aligned to the program and project objectives and SOW. • Ensure that all requirements, project plans, and changes to commitment are communicated to all affected stakeholders. • Develop and/or review estimates and estimating assumptions for the deliverable schedule, effort, and cost using established estimating models, best practices, and past experience. The resulting estimates account for all activities in the project scope, including project management and application development tasks, and vendor and contract management activities. • Define the roles and responsibilities of program and project team members. • Provide timely feedback to project resources on their deliverable quality. • Attend program and project kick off and regular meetings to align the team to the long term, milestone and weekly goals. • Manage relationships and coordinate work between different teams at different locations. • CONTROL • Track all orders coming into the Group Technology Service Delivery, monitor progress and co-ordinate delivery dates. • Monitor deliverable progress of vendors and sub-contractors, and adherence to the SOW and contract. • Measure IT program and project progress at clearly defined points to ensure that the program and project is delivered on time, within budget, and that it meets or exceeds expectations. Balance scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risks. Make adjustments as necessary. • Review, collate, maintain and highlight changes to project plans. Continue to update and improve project methodologies. • Track and update registry of constraints, dependencies, assumptions, risks and issues. Assess the impact on program and project and take action. • Produce weekly performance report and monthly status report to update key stakeholders. • DESIGN • Monitor deliverables of Design Specification. • BUILD • Track closely the procurement, delivery and setup of new GSD infrastructure and configuration of existing environment. • SUPPORT (POST PRODUCTION) • Plan and setup post live support and ensure it is operational. • Organise and facilitate closure of Infra project. • Complete benefit analysis at the end of the Infra project and present the findings to management." Key Responsibilities "• Supervise the medium size GSD Program. • Recommend process improvement and standard to raise output quality • Lead the program/project delivery with support of Project Managers and relevant technical experts • Manage the program/project governance with all stakeholders • Manages medium size program/project consists of concurrent projects as identified and prioritized on GSD • Project roadmap with strict adherence to project delivery methodology. • Works collaboratively with business project management and IT project management teams to provide input and support the strategic direction of the initiative. • Provides tactical execution of program/project from beginning to end and is innovative and resourceful • Drives accountability via clear definition of roles and responsibilities. • Ensures communication and facilitates the completion of each of the key program and projects milestones. • Proactively identifies risks early and recommends mitigation plans to address with program and project stakeholders." Job Specification "• Technical/Functional skills • 6-10 years’ program, project and people management experience • IT Security and Infrastructure knowledge • Experience in Infrastructure foundational services, such as Active Directory, • DNS/DHCP, Identity Access Management (IAM) • Understanding of Cloud foundational services (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) • Knowledge of IT infrastructure inclusive of server, storage, network, Disaster • Recovery/Business Continuity • Proven leadership and knowledge of all phases of project delivery • Expert in project management methodologies • Excellent communication and organizational skills • Demonstrated ability to facilitate and run effective meetings • Ability to work under pressure and adhere to tight deadlines with a strong attention to detail • Demonstrated experience in determining the best use of resources to meet goals of assignments received in the form of objectives. • Personal skills (Soft Competencies [Core/Leadership]) • Proven track record in relationship building, inspiring teamwork and engagement • Ensure team members are competent to carry out their responsibilities • Motivate team to deliver high performance and achieve objectives • Demonstrate a ‘Can-Do’ attitude • Ability to run multiple projects maintaining quality and control • Ability to lead and provide guidance to infrastructure engineers drawing on their project and technical experience • Clear decision-making ability with the facility to judge complex situations and assess when to escalate issues • Excellent communication skills with a capacity to present, discuss and explain issues coherently and logically both in writing and verbally"
