Job Description: A Intern DevOps engineer takes care of the day-to-day provisioning, design and maintenance of cloud infrastructure. As our Junior DevOps engineer you will design solutions for cloud and cross-cloud infrastructure. You will contribute by resolving ad-hoc infrastructure issues, and planned workload implementation. You will work closely with Software Engineers, Operations and other IT professionals in the organization to ensure timely delivery of high quality and stable software. Required Skills: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. Knowledge of programming and scripting languages such as Python, Bash, Yaml, PowerShell, etc Familiarity with Linux/Unix operating systems and virtual machines Knowledge of scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes Understanding of networking concepts and protocols, and software-designed-networks (SDN) such as virtual private network (VPC) Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills Ability to present and communicate the system architectures to multiple stakeholders Ability to analyze and resolve complex infrastructure resource and application deployment issues Working with software developers and software engineers to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intended Good written & verbal communication skills. Job Responsibilities: Design a stable and optimized cloud architecture and implement the workload services on AWS or other cloud environments Provision AWS Cloud Services, (EC2, S3, EBC, ELB, Cloud Watch, Elastic IP, RDS, SNS, SQS, Lambda, IAM, VPC, CloudFormation, Route53 etc) and manage its security. Collaborate with developers to design and implement continuous integration and deployment pipelines (CI/CD) Design and implement solution to reduce monthly cost of workloads across existing or new systems Propose alternate and more optimized cloud solutioning for optimizing existing workload Deploying, automating, maintaining and managing AWS cloud-based systems, to ensure the availability, performance, and scalability of workload and the cloud Infrastructure environments Manage and maintain source code repositories and its security. Develop and maintain documentation related to infrastructure, software, and processes Ability to work independently to solve cloud solutions and collaboratively with the team. System troubleshooting and problem solving across platform and application domains. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies Provide status updates to stakeholders and escalate issues when necessary You will need to be: Highly responsible, self-disciplined, self-managed, self-motivated, able to work with little or no supervision.
