Facility / Mechanical Technician

 Perform routine preventive maintenance on mechanical equipment, HVAC systems, plumbing, and electrical systems.  Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical and facility-related issues in a timely manner.  Maintain and repair facility infrastructure, including building systems, conveyors, and machinery.  Assist in the installation of new equipment and systems.  Support facility upgrade projects by coordinating with vendors and ensuring proper installation and setup.  Document installation processes and update maintenance records accordingly.  Ensure that all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and company policies.  Identify and rectify potential hazards in the facility environment.  Assist in the development and execution of safety programs and training sessions.  Monitor and maintain an inventory of tools, equipment, and spare parts.  Order supplies as needed and ensure the proper storage and usage of materials.  Keep detailed records of maintenance activities and repairs.  Work closely with the operations team to minimize downtime and support production schedules.  Coordinate with external service providers and vendors for specialized maintenance tasks.  Provide clear communication and timely updates on maintenance status and project progress.
