Safety Coordinator

HSE Safety Coordinator reports to the HSE Officer, Project Manager – Major Projects, Construction Manager – Major Projects and/or the Deputy Construction Manager – Major Projects, and Construction Manager – Core Business & QHSE Manager. • Drive implementation, execution and monitoring of established HSE Policy and the Integrated QHSE Management System. • Support on HSE objectives and target achievement. • Provide support to the project team by ensuring and maintaining HSE supervision. · Coordinate with Client’s Health, Safety & Environment Personnel to ensure that company’s work operations are executed in compliance with health, safety and environment protection requirements. · Conduct Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment and Determine Controls (HIRADC). · Conduct Environment Aspect and Impact (EAI) · Conduct vigilance inspection to identify unsafe act or unsafe condition, implement actions to prevent recurrence and close out. • Regularly review, be familiar with and advise site management on all applicable legislation and applicable standards and safe codes of practice. • Conduct HSE training for project team and promote safe work behaviour and implement HSE programs. • Secure and protect unsafe condition, stop unsafe behaviour and report to the project team. • Conduct HSE inspection, identify unsafe condition or unsafe behaviour, report and ensure corrective actions are followed up on and completed. • Ensure that all incidents are reported immediately. • Participate and assist the project team and HSE personnel in the investigation of incidents to determine root cause and implementation of corrective actions where necessary. • Ensure incident corrective actions are followed up on and completed. • Any other duties delegated by respective superiors and senior management. · Implement, monitor and recommend for continuous improvement for ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 procedures. • Yellow card holder (active) * Sarawakian will be advantage *Urgent Hiring Can start Immediately
