Trainer Production

JOB SUMMARY Responsible for conducting skills training for direct labors involved in the manufacturing, configuration or repair process. Train, certify, recertify, audits post-training performance and maintain training records. Prepare training materials, participate in development of courses and procedures, provide input for direction and focus of on-line training needs. Work independently or as part of a team. Spends majority of time on production line. Flexibility in hours is sometimes required to meet customer needs. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES •Be current on production process. •Plans/provides skills training and participates in planning/providing certification and re-certication for operators. •Monitor the manufacturing line for conformance. •Generates and maintains training records. •Being one of the first to come into contact with new operators, make the life of the trainee as less traumatic as possible. •Assists in development and review of new and revised process instructions. •Conduct crosstraining as and when required. •Communicate process changes to operators. •Develop, produce and update training materials. •Conduct special classes and participate in special projects as needed. •Responsible in achieving conformance with the environmental policy, procedures and requirements of the EMS. EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE SPM with 3 – 4 years of hands – on assembly or test line experience in manufacturing related industry or an equivalent combination of education, training and/or work experience. JOB-RELATED SKILLS Good communication and interpersonal skills.
