Job description 1) Correspond with shipper / customer for new inquiry / booking. - By email or over the phone 2) Liaise with supplier / vendor. - Shipping line - for monthly/updated sailing schedule - Forwarding agent - Haulier / transporter 3) Monitor the overall planning of shipment from placing new booking until container gate in to port. - place new booking - provide booking to shipper, forwarding and warehouse (if necessary) - plan and discuss with Ops for container delivery arrangement - ensure custom clearance in time 4) Coordinate with customer / shipper for cargo and container movement. - check cargo readiness prior to shipment - check for container loading status 5) Prepare shipping documents on behalf of shipper / customer. *time consuming - Invoice, Packing List for customs declaration - Shipping Instruction / draft BL for shipping agent - scan complete shipping related documents for courier 6) Follow up on COO form approval status - Dagangnet COO
