Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Switchboard System Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing electrical switchboards and related components to ensure they meet industry standards and customer requirements. Key Responsibilities: 1. Design and develop electrical switchboard systems, ensuring seamless integration with SCADA communication protocols. 2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and constraints. 3. Create detailed engineering documentation, including design specifications, technical reports, and bills of materials (BOMs). 4. Utilize CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) to create 3D models and detailed drawings of electrical components and assemblies. 5. Implement and optimize SCADA communication protocols (e.g., DNP3, Modbus, IEC 61850) within switchboard systems 6. Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations. 7. Conduct testing and validation of switchboard designs to ensure performance, reliability, and safety. 8. Provide technical support and guidance to manufacturing teams during the production process. 9. Continuously improve design processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and quality. Required Qualifications: 1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. 2. Minimum 5 years proven experience in electrical design, preferably in switchboards or related equipment. 3. Proficiency in communication protocol, MODBUS RTU, TCP/IP, DNP3, IEC 61850 4. Minimum 5 years proven experience engineering Eaton protection relays C445 integration to X Energy Switchboard Preferred Competencies: 1. Experience with low voltage switchboard design. 2. Familiarity with manufacturing processes and materials selection. 3. Knowledge of design for manufacturability principles. 4. Strong knowledge of electrical standards and regulations. 5. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. 6. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. 7. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
