1. Oversees and assesses existing processes and workflows. 2. Assist to introduce and implement new technologies and new methods by proposing to management to boost up work efficiency and maximize productivity and quality, as well as minimize engineering cost. 3. Track and monitor process input and output parameters and troubleshoot any abnormalities. 4. Collaborates with other engineers to develop accurate, efficient equipment and instrumentation in accordance with safety and usability standards and client expectations. 5. Assist to prepare and ensure all the documentation and reports of the section are updated, organized and kept well for future reference and audit needs. 6. Organize and provide proper training to all colleagues for better improvement and development of performance by acquiring necessary knowledge and skills. 7. Maintain accuracy of Process Safety Information such as Process Flow Diagram, Piping and Instrumentation Diagram, Safe Operating Envelope and Process Description for the process units assigned. 8. Establish, review and update policy, practice, and standard of procedure of sections which comply with company policy. 9. Contribute to the development of specific procedures, work instructions, repair plans, inspection and testing schedules and ensure compliance. 10. Develop and support basic computer simulations, spreadsheets and test-runs to measure the process unit performances, interconnection interfaces, and identify potential for capacity increase and/or efficiency improvement. 11. Comply with safety policies, company policies, rules and regulations. 12. All tasks assigned by superiors must be completed on or before the deadline / timeline given. 13. Perform any ad-hoc tasks assigned by superiors and / or the Management whenever required.
