Technical Service Engineer

1) Assist Head of Plant to lead and assess the scope of research projects and ensure they are on time and within budget to support company business goals. 2) Assist to develop research programs that incorporate current developments to improve existing products and study the potential of new products by research, design and evaluate materials, assemblies, processes, and equipment. 3) Assist to introduce and implement new technologies and new methods by proposing to management to boost up work efficiency and maximize output as well as minimize engineering cost. 4) Collaborates with other engineers to develop accurate, efficient equipment and instrumentation in accordance with safety and usability standards and client expectations. 5) Assist to prepare and ensure all the documentation and reports of the section are updated, organized and kept well for future reference and audit needs. 6) Organize and provide proper training to all colleagues for better improvement and development of performance by acquiring necessary knowledge and skills. 7) Perform feasibility studies and review process engineering design of proposed projects/ plant changes. 8) Utilize diverse knowledge of scientific research principles, practices and protocols in research projects. 9) Develop and support basic computer simulations, spreadsheets and test-runs to measure the process unit performances, interconnection interfaces, and identify potential for capacity increase and/or efficiency improvement. 10) Establish, review and update policy, practice, and standard of procedure of sections which comply with company policy. 11) Comply with safety policies, company policies, rules and regulations. 12) All tasks assigned by superiors must be completed on or before the deadline / timeline given. 13) Perform any ad-hoc tasks assigned by superiors and / or the Management whenever required.
