Senior Manager Finance

Job Description "Responsibilities: • Assist in coordination and implementation of financial operations/resources/ policies and procedures for international global expansion. • Supplement monthly close review of account reconciliations, with particular focus on judgmental estimates and non-recurring transactions • Contribute to monthly operational budget to actual analysis with FP&A and accounting resources • Support company-wide technical accounting consultation via research on and analysis of complex accounting issues, applying relevant technical guidance and interpretation (examples include contract review, pharmacy operations initiatives, non-recurring equity compensation activities, software capitalization and research and development efforts) • Continuously monitor, document and communicate the development of new accounting standards, interpretations, and emerging guidance to the finance organization, including current and future impact on the company (upcoming examples include new lease, revenue recognition and accounting for forfeitures guidance, and relevant income tax accounting updates) • Field technical accounting queries from audit firms and external audit requests from agencies as well as third party payors; (key point of contact for external auditors). • Oversee, implement and maintain the company’s accounting policies and monitor compliance; work with the Chief Financial Officer to lead policy initiatives. • Assist in the financial policy transition and accounting of newly acquired or established businesses. • Provide training on new or existing accounting standards to company employees. • Manage the Sarbanes-Oxley process including review of controls and narratives with process owners and coordination of testing with internal and external audit functions. • Identify and recommend sustainable strategic process improvements based on outcomes from SOX compliance efforts and assist company in prioritizing automated controls and processes over manual compliance. This includes particular focus on partnering with IT leadership in areas associated with Microsoft AX upgrade targeted for 2017. • Partner with business leaders as well as accounting and finance team to identify necessary operational improvements with potential financial reporting impact. • Manage accounting and financial aspects of business initiatives while coordinating with other business leaders. Example initiatives include: • Global expansion efforts • Evaluation of and movement to new sales channels • Roll-out of new product or service offerings • Assist with income tax and sales and use tax process including coordination with third party tax preparers for filing returns and recording the tax provision within the financial statements, as well as state and federal audits. • Perform other duties as assigned." Experience: "• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accountancy . • CPA Preferred Minimum Requirements: • Minimum combined experience of 6-10 years of public accounting/ and Corporate experience at SEC registered entities" Benefits: "1.
