As a product development engineer in the Data Center Storage group (DCS), you will work on developing our next generation Data Center Storage products, including enterprise class NVMe SSD controllers and other PCIe-based products. This will involve taking a design from initial concept to production form. You will be responsible for chip-level architecture and provide technical leadership to a team of engineers working on the project. Job Responsibilities: Responsible for chip-level architecture. Responsibilities including: Working with system architects and marketing to define chip features; Partitioning chip into subsystems and blocks; Responsible for chip level documentations Providing technical leadership to the SOC frontend design team. Providing guidance to the team performing development activities such as RTL coding, IP integration; Leading interactions with verification and implementation teams to ensure successful tapeouts; Supporting FPGA/palladium emulation, ASIC LAB validation, and so on Representing the frontend design team to interface with other functional groups such as product engineering, and so on Qualifications/Requirements: Bachelor’s degree with 12+ years related experience Hands-on experiences in multiple successful ASIC tapeouts; In-depth knowledge of ASIC design processes (design, verification, implementation, layout) and flows Proven ability to work with multiple functional groups. Ability to work effectively across culture, geographic, and time-zone differences is a major asset To identify potential issues, and to proactively drive to solve them is a must Protocol knowledge and experience in PCI-Express, DDR, NAND flash, and/or other storage technologies is strongly desired Working experiences with ARM processor and interconnect IPs will be an asset Proficient in Verilog/System Verilog Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
