About the role

Seeking an experienced Rigger to join our team in Tanjung Langsat, Johor. As a Rigger, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of heavy machinery and equipment used in our oil and gas operations. This is a full-time position that requires a high level of technical expertise and a strong commitment to safety.

What you'll be doing

  • Inspecting, maintaining, and repairing rigging equipment, such as ropes, chains, and slings
  • Safely operating spoolers, cranes, hoists, and other lifting equipment to move and position materials and equipment
  • Collaborating with team members to plan and execute complex lifts and rigging operations
  • Adhering to all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe work environment
  • Providing guidance and training to less experienced members of the team
  • Maintaining detailed records of all rigging activities and equipment inspections

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Rigger in the oil and gas industry
  • Strong knowledge of rigging techniques, equipment, and safety protocols
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with colleagues
  • Must be physically fit
  • Must have own transport
