About the Role:

We are seeking a motivated Cybersecurity Associate Intern to join our dynamic security team. This internship is designed to provide hands-on experience in various aspects of cybersecurity, including threat analysis, vulnerability assessments, incident response, and risk management. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in cybersecurity, a foundational understanding of IT concepts, and a desire to learn and grow within a professional environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Threat Monitoring & Analysis:

Assist in monitoring network traffic and security alerts using industry-standard tools.

Analyze suspicious activities and report potential security threats

Vulnerability Assessment:
Support the team in conducting vulnerability scans and security assessments.
Document findings and help develop remediation strategies.

Incident Response:
Participate in incident response activities, including root cause analysis and post-incident reviews.
Help maintain incident logs and contribute to response documentation.

Security Tools & Technologies:
Gain hands-on experience with firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and endpoint protection solutions.
Assist in configuring and maintaining security tools under the guidance of senior staff.

Compliance & Documentation:
Assist with compliance audits and ensure adherence to internal security policies.
Help prepare documentation, reports, and security awareness materials for the team.

Research & Learning:
Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity trends, emerging threats, and best practices.
Participate in training sessions, workshops, and team meetings to enhance knowledge and skills.
