Primary Job Scope- The incumbent is to achieve Sales and Profit target for the Malaysia Market specifically Johor including but not limited to Manufacturing Plant, Institution & System Integrator and to grow the number of buying base.
Job Responsibilities- Formulate cluster sales and marketing plan to generate leads and sales which involve but not limited to:- Interpret the strategic plan requirement- Analyse the company market position vis-à-vis competitors- Products promotion events/activitie- Prepare and propose budgets for approval.
- Develop the dedicated cluster business by building up customer relationship through visitation, value-added services & solutions and generate sales and profit contribution.
- Prepare monthly pipeline reports and quarterly forecasting to achieve set sales targets.
- Develop new potential customers/contacts for dedicated business cluster.
- Work collaboratively with relevant departments in achieving sales target as set by management.
- Provide timely customer response, technical solutions and exceeding customer expectations so as to ensure optimal level of service.
- Provide market intelligence related to competitor information, industry trend and market outlook for management decision-making.
- Monitor and control the credit term and limit for the customers.
- Close the sales and ensure the collectability of debts.
- Build up customer relationship through visitation, value-added services and solutions.
- Work collaboratively with Manager in achieving customer coverage and sales/profit target set.
- Provide on-site proof of concept (POC) testing based on customer’s application requirement.
- Weekly sales activity review with Manager in either physical or virtual form.
- Work closely with local partner to comb the market. Eg: Distributor, System Integrator.
Task-Related Competencies- Write effective sales and marketing plan (e.g., product promotion plans, etc)
- Apply activity-based costing knowledge
- Build good contacts and experience with suppliers, contractors, panel builders and system integrators
- Apply products and services offered by the Company; such as, what they are, market demand-and-supply dynamics, sustainability standards and the Company’s competitiveness in each of them
- Plan strategies for effective customer relationship management (CRM)
- Manage and resolve customer complaints and issue resolutions
- Apply organisational policies and procedures regarding sales orders, deliveries and invoices
- Know the legislative, operational, logistical or administrative issues regarding to customers’ markets
- Manage and review process for success/failure of sales leads, listening to voice of customer (VOC) and communicating them to management
- Demonstrate leaderships with project sales management experience; possess sense of urgency and dedication to work and adaptation to changes

Job Requirements- Formal education in Engineering (preferably in electronic & electrical engineering)
- Knowledge in Sales & Marketing
- At least 2 years of experience in factory automation & related industry is preferred (e.g., General Manufacturing, Electronics, Biomedical/Healthcare, Building and Infrastructure etc)
