- Initiate, execute and supervise the implementation of Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) at workplace.
- Carry out regular workplace inspection/monthly audits and risk assessments for the continual monitoring of compliance required under the local legislation as well as the company’s standards.
- Carry out safety trainings, factory visits and knowledge assessment to all new hires.
- Plan and manage safety training programs as and when necessary.
- Assist in investigation of incidents occurred and submit reports to management where necessary.
- Assist in renewal of licenses such as machinery licenses, FYK and other relevant licenses.
- Liaise with relevant statutory/regulatory bodies such as JKKP, DOSH, BOMBA, DOE to maintain compliance.
- Record keeping for all documentations pertaining to safety and health matters.
- Pro-active in promoting a healthy and safety culture among the workforce.
- Schedule waste handling & review monthly report submission
- Relevant Degree or diploma in Occupational Safety & Health or an equivalent qualification, with a Green Book (mandatory)
- At least 2 - 3 years of relevant working experience preferably in a manufacturing industry.
- Familiar with OHSAS, and other related Acts Standard requirements.
- Strong Communication and Writing Skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
- Strong knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety Regulations.
- Proficient Problem-solving, Multi-tasking and Organizational Skills.
- Detail-oriented and ready to act in emergencies.
