- Assist with loading & unloading goods in & out from the lorry.
- Ensure the goods placed in a safe manner during the delivery.
- Be prepared to collect goods/documentations from customers' area as per requested.
- Ensure all the paperwork / documentations accompanying goods are complete before out for delivery.
- Record the daily delivery & collection to & from customers.
- Able to use the navigation systems such as the GPS, Waze or Google maps.
- Maintain knowledge of local & interstate routes.
- Monitor road, traffic & weather conditions and take alternate routes where required.
- Arrange delivery of goods/documentations to the destinations and ensure delivery order is chopped & signed by customer.
- Feedback and inform superior on the customers' needs & complaints if there is any.
- Ensure the vehicles are well maintained.
- Collaborate with admin team on the scheduling of JPJ inspection & road tax / insurance renewal.
- Estimate the weights to comply with load limitations & ensure the safe distribution of weights.
- Perform other related duties & responsibilities as assigned by superior.
- Experienced as a lorry driver.
- Must possess a valid D & GDL driving license.
- Willingness to adhere to assigned routes, schedules, safety procedures & transportation laws.
- Must strictly obey and follow customers' delivery requirements, including procedures and rules at loading bays.
- Able to work under pressure and handle urgent delivery tasks.
- Able to work for overtime (OT).
- Good time management skills & abilities to prioritize the delivery.
- Must clock in & clock out using the company’s app for daily work tracking.
- Must possess good attitude towards our customers.
- Must possess safe driving skills and maintain a clean driving record.
- Responsible for ensuring the lorry is well-maintained, clean, and in good working condition.
- Must report any vehicle issues or accidents immediately to the management.
