Job Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies for effective employee relations, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and fostering a positive workplace culture.
- Act as a key advisor on employee relations matters, providing guidance to management and employees on policies, procedures, and compliance.
- Oversee the resolution of employee grievances, disputes, and conflicts through effective communication and intervention strategies.
- Conduct investigations into employee complaints and issues, ensuring thorough documentation and communication of findings and recommendations.
- Facilitate training and workshops for employees and managers on employee relations topics, promoting best practices and awareness of policies.
- Monitor and analyze employee engagement and sentiment through surveys, feedback, and other metrics to inform strategies for improvement.
- Collaborate with HR colleagues and leadership teams to implement initiatives that enhance employee experience and promote a culture of respect and inclusion.
- Stay updated on labor laws, regulations, and industry trends to ensure organizational compliance and ethical practices.
- Lead the development and revision of employee relations policies and procedures, ensuring they are communicated effectively across the organization.
Requirements
Job Requirements
- Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., SHRM, CIPD) are advantageous.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in employee relations or a related HR function, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
- In-depth knowledge of labor laws, employee relations best practices, and conflict resolution techniques.
- Proven ability to navigate complex employee issues and provide sound recommendations for resolution.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage employees at all levels.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to facilitate discussions and present findings clearly.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data to assess employee engagement and inform decisions.
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
