The General Manager is responsible for the smooth functioning of all aspects on the shopping mall management including but not limited to covering daily administration, human resources, leasing and tenant relationship, sales strategy, financial planning and comply to the shopping center standards in environment, safety, business ethics and corporate governance. Job Scope:- • Develop and implement approved procedures and systems across mall functions to ensure smooth coordination/cooperation among various internal departments to facilitate business needs and deliver positive customer and tenant experiences. • Develop and maintain a long-term beneficial relationship with all existing tenants and Retail Groups to ensure continued and future business. • Monitor all asset management functions including leasing, marketing & promotion, property management, tenant relationship management and customer services. • Prepare, review and adjust financial budgets and monitor performance against budget. • Follow legal procedures with respect to mall operations and tenant interactions. • Maintain good working relationships with relevant Government departments and internal/external stakeholders. • Ensure delivery of first-class management and maintenance service to its tenants and recommends improvement where necessary. Job Requirement:- • Preferably Degree in related field. •Minimum 10 years of experience in shopping mall management. •A strategic thinker with sound business acumen, result-oriented, self-motivated, confident and able to work independently and under pressure. •Understanding and experience in managing Service Level Agreements e.g. cleaning, security & facilities management. •Good understanding of tenant mix and zoning. •Outstanding Leadership and People Management Skills.
