Shift Technician (Injection Moulding)

The role purpose of Shift Technician is to manage the setup of injection moulding, monitor and optimize their performance. This role is responsible to assist in evaluating and coordinating with various departments to ensure compliance with product and process requirements. Core role responsibilities • Manage the setup and preparation of injection molding machines for production and engineering runs. • Monitor and optimize the performance of injection molding machines to achieve production targets and efficiency goals. • Make necessary adjustments to machine settings within established parameters to ensure product quality and consistency. • Provide input and implement corrective actions to address machine malfunctions and process deviations. • Assist in testing, verification, and process validation for new or modified products, machines and tools. • Coordinate with other stakeholders such as Vendors, QA/QC, NPD, Kits Development, Tooling and Production to ensure compliance with product and process requirements. • Assist the immediate superior in conducting evaluations, verifications, and reporting on production and process-related matters. • Assist in training new team members. • Share expertise and best practices with the team to enhance overall skills and knowledge. • Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the department. • Ensure the cleanliness of machines, tools, and work areas to meet safety and hygiene standards by comply to GMP and relevant ISO requirements.
