MERCURE MIRI CITY CENTRE Job Summary – (Role Summary) • As a Pastry you are responsible supporting the Executive Sous Chef in a busy hotel kitchen delivering consistently high-quality food, handle purchase orders and ensure that items arriving without authorization are not received. • Ensures the highest standards and consistent quality in the daily preparation and keeps up to date with the new products, recipes and preparation techniques. • Adhere to regulations concerning HACCP, health, safety, or other compliance requirements, as well as brand standards and policies and procedures. • Recognizes superior quality products, presentations and flavour. • Maintains purchasing, receiving and food storage standards. • Supports procedures for food & beverage portion and waste controls. • Follows proper handling and right temperature of all food products.
