We are looking for an IT Operations Executive & Technical Support to assist in our IT Operations, in terms of our cloud technology infrastructure set up, networking and key IT operational processes (policies and procedures) of our organization's IT department.

The IT Operations Executive will be responsible for assisting the IT Team and the Technical support activities in the running, maintaining, monitoring and execution of the day-to-day operations of the IT computing resources. Constantly ensuring that the availability and reliability of systems and networks, assisting in managing some key related technology providers / partners, and implementing new technologies and processes to further improve efficiency and productivity. Assist and ensure that the organization's IT operational policies and procedures are consistently up to date and compliant with industry standards and regulations, and best practices.

As an added advantage, the IT Operations Executive should possess some knowledge and working experience with Cybersecurity operational risks, security monitoring policy, process, and procedures, including knowledge on IT System Audit needs in line with regulatory and authority requirements. To work in a collaborative manner with the Cybersecurity team and resource to ensure security and compliance.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the daily operations of the IT department and ensuring that systems and networks are running smoothly, ensure system up-time and maintenance of the system operation.
  • Developing and/or assist in implementing policies, procedures, and processes to improve IT operations and increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Assist and working closely with selected technology vendors and/or service providers to ensure that the organization's technology needs are continuously met.
  • Assist in the evaluation and implementing new technologies and systems, in terms of operational needs which will improve IT infrastructure / network and support the organization's business goals, and in a very secured and control environment.
  • Work as a team with the IT technical support and technical maintenance for the Cloud Infrastructure, Network topology and architecture design, including the Firewalls, DNS, CCTV equipment at respective branches to ensure that they are meeting the goals and objectives of the IT Operational consistently and continuously.
  • Maintaining a strong and good understanding of the organization's business needs, and working closely with other departments, especially Compliance, Security and Applications, to ensure that IT is aligned with the needs of operational efficiency.
  • Ensuring that the organization's IT policies and procedures are up to date and compliant with industry standards and company regulations.
  • Keeping up to date with the latest industry trends and developments in IT operations management, and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Maintaining and supporting technically the system performance and recommend improvements proactively, in the event of any capacity deficiencies
  • Implementing an incident reporting structure and the solution for operations incident report, for Application support, Security breaches and/or incidents in compliance with the policy and procedures defined, according the industry best practices.
  • Provide support and guidance to stakeholders via help desk
  • Work very closely and as 2nd Level to the Business Operational Help Desk, in terms of IT needs and operational requirements
  • Manage all help desk related incidents and reports, including Cybersecurity / IT Risk incidents and assist in the resolution, both jointly with Business Help Desk and the Cybersecurity Team.

  • The candidate should possess a BSc/BA in Computer Science, IT or relevant fields in IT Operations at an Enterprise environment.
  • Proven experience as IT Operations Executive, preferably at a minimum of 4-5 years IT Operational experience, with strong IT Technical support capabilities.
  • Experience with system installation, configuration and analysis and cloud provisioning ability, with minimum supervision.
  • Have experience in working with Help Desk / Problem Management team, as 2nd Level resolution and incidence management. Have implemented incidence reporting tools experience.
  • Thorough knowledge of infrastructure, networks architecture and cloud computing, preferably with Alibaba Cloud environment would be an added advantage
  • Strong communication and inter-personal skills and ability to work as a team of strong IT professionals to drive performance and efficiency
  • Good knowledge and some working experience on Cybersecurity operation will be an added advantage
