
[Japanese Restaurant] Kitchen Service Team
Your new role:
1. Food Preparation & Cooking
- Assist in the preparation of ingredients (e.g., chopping, marinating, portioning).
- Cook and assemble food items according to standardized recipes.
- Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet company standards.
2. Kitchen Hygiene & Cleanliness
- Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment in compliance with food safety regulations.
- Follow proper handwashing and hygiene protocols.
- Dispose of waste and food scraps appropriately.
3. Inventory & Stock Management
- Assist in monitoring ingredient levels and notify supervisors when stock runs low.
- Properly store food items to maintain freshness and prevent spoilage.
- Conduct stock checks and assist in receiving deliveries.
4. Equipment and Utensil Handling
- Use kitchen equipment and utensils safely and correctly.
- Clean and maintain equipment to ensure functionality and longevity.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or damage to the supervisor.
5. Teamwork & Kitchen Coordination
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
- Communicate efficiently with front-of-house staff regarding orders.
- Assist colleagues during busy periods to maintain workflow.
6. Closing and Cleaning Duties
- Perform end-of-day cleaning tasks, including washing dishes, sweeping, and mopping.
- Properly store leftover ingredients and food items.
- Ensure all equipment is turned off and workstations are tidy before leaving.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year experience in Kitchen operations.
- Preferably candidate with Japanese cuisine experience.
- Basic skills in knife handling, food preparation, cooking techniques.
Working Hour:
10:00AM to 08:30PM or 09:30PM (with breaks in between the operation)
