Requirements and Qualification
- Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or any related field.
- Minimum 5 years of work experience in similar role is required for this position.
- Proven track record of successfully managing the entire product lifecycle.
- Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and experience using product management tools (e.g., JIRA).
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder expectations.
- Knowledge on ISO/IEC 27001, SOC 2, PCIDSS, ISO 31000, ISO/IEC 27005, or ISMS.
- Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO).
- Product Management Professional Certifications (e.g., AIPMM, Pragmatic Institute).
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent Agile project management certifications.
- Experience in fuel retail or POS industries.
Responsibilities
- Define and set the vision for the module, ensuring alignment to the overall product vision and between internal stakeholders (Business Development, Marketing, Customer Support) and external stakeholders (Clients, Vendor, Solution provider) with the overall solution and organization objectives.
- Determine what gets released and when it will be released by coordinating with the team and Project Managers.
- Define and communicate the product vision and strategy based on market research, customer insights, and competitive analysis.
- Develop, maintain, and prioritize a comprehensive product roadmap that aligns with business objectives.
- Translate product vision into detailed requirements and user stories for development teams.
- Manage and groom the product backlog, balancing short-term needs with long-term strategic goals.
- Work with teams to ensure appropriate documentation is ready such as User Manual, FSDs, PRDs, Help articles (FAQs) or internal training resources.
- Liaise with cross-functional teams from Support, Business Development, and Finance to understand their perspectives and ensure module success.
- Collaborate with end-users, internal stakeholders, external stakeholders, and markets (peeking into market trends, competitor product and emerging technologies) to understand the needs and pain points.
- Collaborate with stakeholders in performing UATs to align with initial vision and meet user needs.
- Prepare any process and procedure within the section that is required to optimize operations, enhance efficiency, and ensure alignment with organizational goals and standards.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and use this metric to measure success of a feature on the POS system in meeting its objectives from business and user perspectives. This can be in the form of Engagement, Business Outcome, and User satisfaction metrics.
- Mentor junior team members, providing guidance, feedback, and support in their professional development.
- Assist with the onboarding process for new team members to ensure smooth integration into the department.
- Potentially manage direct reports, including setting performance goals, conducting evaluations, and facilitating career growth.
- To be responsible for the SSB’s information security objectives and comply with all management system documentation and framework & regulatory requirements as listed in SSB-GDL-006 Framework and Regulatory Requirements.
- To perform any other task as assigned by the supervisor.

Pay: RM7,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
