Job Description for Business Development Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Development and implementation of energy related (BESS, REC, EMS, etc) products, technologies, and projects.
  • Provide technical leadership on the selection, integration, and optimization of new energy technologies, ensuring system reliability, safety, and efficiency.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure smooth execution.
  • Ensure compliance with local, national, and international regulations and standards related to the developed technology.
  • Oversee the integration of new technology with existing energy infrastructure, including renewable energy sources, grid systems, and energy management systems.
  • Develop and manage costings, schedules, and resource allocations to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with new technology projects, ensuring all safety, operational, and performance standards are met.
  • Lead efforts to optimize performance through monitoring, data analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Stay updated on advancements in technology, energy trends, and market developments, ensuring the company's solutions remain competitive and innovative.
  • Act as the key point of contact for customers and partners, providing technical support, addressing concerns, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, Energy Systems, or any related field.
  • experienced in energy storage, renewable energy, or related technical fields, with a proven track record in developing and managing new technology projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of technological advancement and requirement.
  • Experience in grid integration and energy management systems (EMS).
  • Familiarity with industry regulations, standards, and safety protocols.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to work effectively with internal teams, external stakeholders, and customers. Proficient in relevant software tools (e.g., AutoCAD, MATLAB, simulation software, MS Project, etc.).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM7,000.00 - RM10,000.00 per month
