Key Responsibilities:
Business Development:
• Identify new business opportunities and potential clients in the wine industry.
• Conduct market research and analysis to understand market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
• Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to penetrate new markets and expand our customer base.
• Generate leads, qualify prospects, and actively pursue new business opportunities through networking, cold calling, and other sales strategies.
• Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline to achieve and exceed sales targets.
Client Relationship Management:
• Cultivate strong relationships with existing clients and key stakeholders, including distributors, retailers, restaurants, and other industry partners.
• Understand client needs, preferences, and market demands to tailor our offerings and maximize customer satisfaction.
• Conduct regular client meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations to showcase our wines and services.
• Provide exceptional customer service, address client inquiries, and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Develop and implement strategies to enhance client retention and foster long-term partnerships.
Sales and Revenue Growth:
• Achieve sales targets and contribute to the company's revenue growth.
• Develop and negotiate contracts, pricing agreements, and terms with clients to ensure profitable business relationships.
• Monitor sales performance, analyze data, and identify areas for improvement and growth.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing and operations, to develop effective sales strategies, promotional campaigns, and new product launches.
• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging markets, and competitor activities to capitalize on new opportunities.
Industry Networking and Representation:
• Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to build networks, promote our brand, and stay updated on industry developments.
• Act as a brand ambassador, representing our company's values and offerings to clients and industry professionals.
• Collaborate with industry associations, organizations, and influencers to enhance brand visibility and reputation.
Qualifications:
• Minimum 3 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management within the wine industry.
• Strong knowledge and passion for wine, including understanding of different wine regions, varietals, and production processes.
• Proven track record in achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
