  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Are you an experienced AS400 Developer looking for an exciting opportunity in Malaysia? We are seeking a skilled professional to maintain and enhance IBM iSeries (AS400) applications running on older versions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, enhance, and maintain AS400 applications using RPG III, RPG IV, RPG/400, RPG ILE, CL, and COBOL/400
  • Work with DB2/400 for database management, optimization, and SQL query development
  • Troubleshoot and debug legacy AS400 applications to ensure smooth operations
  • Modify and optimize existing RPG and CL code for improved functionality
  • Manage job scheduling, batch processing, and system automation
  • Develop reports using Query/400, SQL/400, and IBM Query Management
  • Ensure compliance, security, and documentation of AS400 applications

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience as an AS400/iSeries Developer
  • Strong programming expertise in RPG III, RPG IV, RPG ILE, CL, and COBOL/400
  • Experience with DB2/400 (SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers)
  • Familiarity with SEU, PDM, SDA, RLU for AS400 development
  • Proficient in troubleshooting AS400 applications and system integration
  • Strong knowledge of legacy batch processing, job scheduling, and spool file management
  • Ability to work independently and troubleshoot production issues

Good to Have:

  • Experience in AS400 modernization projects
  • Knowledge of web-enabling AS400 applications (REST APIs, XML, Web Services)
  • Exposure to IBM iSeries security and user profile managementExperience with Aldon, TurnOver, or other AS400 change management tools

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM10,000.00 - RM12,500.00 per month

Experience:

  • AS400/iSeries Developer: 2 years (Required)
  • RPG III, RPG IV, RPG ILE, CL, and COBOL/400: 2 years (Preferred)
  • DB2/400 (SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers): 2 years (Preferred)
  • EU, PDM, SDA, RLU for AS400 development: 2 years (Preferred)
