Job Responsibilities:
- Monitor purchasing processes and ensure they follow company policies and procedures, frequently seeking approval for decisions.
- Monitor the issuance and processing of POs, and update the requestor regarding any delays in the schedule. Follow up with suppliers on open POs.
- Handle toolroom purchases item, including mold bases, steel materials, and toolroom accessories, and forward payment advice to suppliers.
- Handle maintenance team requests item, including servicing, checking, and repairing machine breakdowns.
- Work on cost analysis to ensure the company is paying the best prices for materials, while demanding cost-saving opportunities that meet high standards.
- Provide regular feedback and closely manage the performance of those assisting with purchasing tasks, demanding excellence in every action.
- Handle reject and replacement item from supplier.
- Handle invoice or payment issue.
- Handle for license application for import and related a shipping document.
- Meeting with supplier for new requirement.
Job Requirements:
- Degree or Diploma in supply chain management, business administration or related field.
- Minimum 5-8 years experiences in Procurement / Purchasing.
- Experience in Plastic Manufacturing is an added advantages.
- Knowledge in Microsoft Office and ERP system.
- Proficient in negotiation, cost-saving strategies, and effective communication also an added advantages.
