Your role in the company will be to be a part of the establishment of our shared Global Business Services, providing accounting and finance support to our offices around the world.

What we’re looking for:

As a Group Accounting Manager you will be assisting with the day-to-day accounting and finance activities of our company and maintaining records of the same. You will be part of our team that works diligently to maintain transparency and order of Kliqxe’s finances across multiple countries and jurisdictions. An ideal candidate for this role would be one who is detail-oriented and conscientious about numbers and has at least an accounting related education background. Your role would be to contribute to the overall effectual operations of our group’s Finance operations.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Maintenance of Accounts Receivables and Accounts Payables functions
  • Accounting and journal transactions maintenance
  • Bank reconciliation and daily cash flow management support
  • Intercompany billing and reporting
  • Monthly and yearly financial reporting, including country-by-country reporting and consolidation
  • Financial planning and analysis, including the preparation of budgets and forecasts
  • Accounting and tax compliance matters, including e-invoicing, tax, audit and other statutory obligations
  • Payroll and expense claims review and reporting
  • Maintenance of the group’s accounting and finance database
  • Global stakeholder management

What you may need to succeed:

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting / Finance / Economics or Commerce with accounting related modules or Professional qualification (ICAEW, ACCA, CPA, MICPA etc.)
  • At least 6 years of accounting related experience.
  • Sound understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices
  • Advanced competency in MS Office Excel and experience in using Accounting software packages, with added advantage for experience in using Xero accounting software
  • Strong analytical ability with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to prioritise, ensure tasks are completed in its entirety and meet strict deadlines
  • Ability to self review deliverables with emphasis on accuracy and attention to detail
  • Self-starter who is able to work independently
  • Looking to expand exposure to cross-border experiences
