Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures in compliance with local, national, and international standards.
- Ensure compliance with local regulatory bodies and industry standards for health, safety, and the environment.
- Develop and implement risk mitigation plans and safety protocols for ongoing and upcoming projects.
- Ensure proper implementation of the emergency response plan on site.
- Provide training on emergency response, personal protective equipment (PPE), and safe work procedures.
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement in safety and environmental performance within the company.
- Any relevant task assigned from higher authorities
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree or additional certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA) is an advantage.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in HSE management within the construction industry.
- Proven experience in managing HSE programs on large-scale construction projects.
- In-depth knowledge of HSE regulations and construction industry standards.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to conduct risk assessments and safety audits.
