A US-based MNC is hiring an experienced Supply Planner to join its pioneer team in Johor Bahru. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining optimal inventory levels to support both customer demand and the production schedule.

Industry: Manufacturing/Production (Pharmaceuticals)
Location: SiLC Iskandar Puteri
Working Days: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain optimal inventory levels to support customer demand and the production schedule.
  • Monitor stock movements and address shortages, overages, excess, and obsolescence to ensure efficiency.
  • Work closely with the Production team to align material availability with the production schedule.
  • Proactively inform HODs of any foreseen or unforeseen material supply issues to mitigate production risks.
  • Collaborate with Buyer to plan material pull-ins and push-outs, ensuring timely deliveries and minimal supply chain disruptions.
  • Analyze historical demand and material consumption trends to refine planning accuracy.
  • Provide data-driven insights to management for strategic decision-making.
  • Prepare and present monthly reports on inventory levels, material movement, and supply chain performance.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Operations, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a supply planning or materials planning role, preferably within the manufacturing industry.
  • Proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Well-versed in MS Excel and ERP or MRP system.
