Key Responsibilities:

Workshop Operations & Management:

  • Oversee daily operations of the bodywork and paint workshop to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Plan, schedule, and allocate jobs to technicians based on expertise and workload.
  • Monitor repair quality to ensure compliance with manufacturer and industry standards.
  • Ensure timely completion of repair jobs to meet customer expectations.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workshop environment.

Technical & Quality Assurance:

  • Conduct inspections on repaired vehicles before delivery to customers.
  • Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support to technicians.
  • Ensure proper use of tools, equipment, and repair techniques.
  • Implement quality control measures to minimize rework and warranty claims.

Team Leadership & Development:

  • Supervise and motivate a team of bodywork technicians and painters.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide training as needed.
  • Promote teamwork, discipline, and adherence to company policies.

Customer Service & Communication:

  • Work closely with the service advisors and customers to provide accurate repair estimates.
  • Ensure clear communication with customers regarding repair status and timelines.
  • Address customer complaints professionally and implement corrective actions.

Inventory & Cost Control:

  • Monitor and control the use of materials, tools, and consumables.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and procurement for timely stock replenishment.
  • Ensure cost-effective operations while maintaining quality service.

Compliance & Safety:

  • Ensure all workshop activities comply with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Conduct regular safety briefings and enforce safety protocols.
  • Keep updated with industry regulations and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in automotive body repair and paint workshop management.
  • Strong knowledge of collision repair, painting processes, and workshop operations.
  • Leadership skills with the ability to manage and train a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
