- Handle and oversee• Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR), ensuring timely and accurate processing of payments and collections.
- Perform and manage• monthly accounts reconciliation and ensure timely month-end closing.
- Monitor and follow up• on debtors and creditors aging to ensure payments and collections are up to date.
- Enter and verify• accounting entries to ensure completeness and accuracy in the accounting system.
- Maintain and reconcile• accounting records to ensure proper financial reporting.
- Ensure and verify• that all data entered in the system is correct and accurate at all times.
- Manage and perform• proper filing and maintenance of department records.
- Prepare and analyze• financial reports to support decision-making.
- Ensure compliance• with accounting policies, internal controls, and regulatory requirements.
- Liaise• with internal and external auditors, tax agents, and relevant authorities when necessary.
- Perform and undertake• special assignments, ad-hoc functions, and related duties as required by management.
Requirements:-
- Candidate must possess at least Diploma in accounting or equivalent
- Candidate with relevant experience will be given priority
- Good interpersonal skill, well organized and positive working attitude
- Able to work independently and have team work
- Good communication and interpersonal skill, meticulous, able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- A team player with high degree of honesty and integrity
- Familiar with Autocount Software will be an added advantage
