The Candidate Engagement Specialist (CES) / Recruitment Specialist (RS) plays a key role in identifying and attracting both passive and active candidates through direct sourcing and market research. This role may involve managing individual requisitions—from discovery intake to offer negotiation—or supporting a sourcing team by providing qualified candidates for roles handled by IBM Talent Acquisition Partners.

The CES/RS will help shape and execute recruitment strategies, leveraging market insights to attract top talent. As the first point of contact for candidates, they will effectively communicate the client’s Employer Value Proposition (EVP) and provide insights into the company, industry, and job opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in role discovery meetings with Hiring Managers to establish expectations, timelines, and sourcing strategies.
  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition Partners to analyze role requirements and assess market talent availability.
  • Develop innovative sourcing strategies, including passive candidate outreach, recruitment marketing plans, and talent pipeline development.
  • Drive networking initiatives, campaigns, and referral programs to enhance the candidate pipeline.
  • Conduct research-driven sourcing activities, such as competitor mapping, email marketing, social media outreach, and cold calling.
  • Screen and assess candidates based on predefined selection criteria to ensure a strong talent pool.
  • Serve as a brand ambassador, engaging passive candidates and maintaining their interest in the company.
  • Source, screen, and present qualified candidate shortlists to Talent Acquisition Partners.
  • Maintain accurate records and update recruitment systems as required.
  • Prioritize workload based on sourcing complexity to meet production goals and revenue targets.
  • Deliver high-quality candidate engagement to enhance client satisfaction, contributing to positive Net Promoter Scores (NPS), references, and case studies.
